  • We understand that making travel plans can sometimes require a little extra time. That's why we offer our "Time to Think" option, allowing you to hold your booking for 72 hours before finalizing your ticket purchase.

How it works

Our program is designed to give you peace of mind.

  • 1. Start your booking

    Begin your booking process on our website by selecting your desired flights and entering your details.

  • 2. Choose "Time to Think"

    During the booking process, you will be offered the "Time to Think" feature. For a fee of just $10 to hold the booking for 3 days or $5 to hold the booking for 24 hours., you can to secure your chosen flights.

  • 3. Confirm your hold

    Once you select "Time to Think," you will be required to pay the appropriate fee to secure your booking. This non-refundable fee ensures that your chosen flights are reserved for you during this period.

  • 4. Make Your Decision

    Your booking is secured for the selected time without a change is fare, this gives you ample time to finalize your travel plans confidently.

  • 5. Complete Your Purchase

    If you decide to go ahead with the booking within the selected window, simply return to our website, or Mobile App, retrieve your booking, and complete the payment process to secure your tickets.

  • 6. Expiry of hold

    If you do not confirm your booking within the selected hold window, the hold will automatically expire. The $10 fee will not be refunded, and your selected flights will no longer be reserved.

Terms and Conditions

  • Time to Think is available for direct online sales on RwandAir.com only.
  • Paid amounts are non-refundable and cannot be deducted from ticket prices under any circumstances.
  • Changes to flight dates and names are not allowed once the fare has been locked in.
  • Time to Think applies to specific fare brands within specific timelines.
  • RwandAir has the sole decision to amend/add or remove the option. (Previously paid options are guaranteed)
  • Time to Think service fees are based on pre-set rules that are at the sole discretion of RwandAir.
