DUBAI BOUND PASSENGERS TRANSITING THROUGH OR FROM KIGALI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Following the new UAE Covid-19 test requirements for passengers out of restricted countries, all passengers transiting or starting their journey at Kigali International airport from Accra, Bangui, Bujumbura, Mumbai, Brussels, Cotonou, Douala, Doha, Dubai, Entebbe, Kamembe, Kigali, Libreville, London, and Lusaka to Dubai will adhere to the following procedures: Present a valid negative Covid-19 test certificate that is issued within the valid time frame, namely, (48) hours from the time of collecting the sample and from an approved health service, which uses a QR code system. All transiting passengers will be required to arrive one day before their departure to Dubai. They will be required to get accommodation in Kigali to wait for the following day flight at their own cost Payment for two PCR Covid -19 tests before departure from point of origin to cater for test on arrival in Kigali and a second test the following day six hours (6hrs) to their flight. The two Covid-19 tests will cost $120. Direct passengers (those who will start their journey from Kigali) will be required to take an additional Rapid PCR test performed six hours (6hrs) before departure at the airport.
